World Ocean Day

Happy World Ocean Day!  Our children learnt more about our oceans today, discussing how they are becoming more and more polluted along with the impact of single use plastic.  FS2 enjoyed listening to stories about sea creatures which had got into trouble with plastic. Lots of our children joined in with beach cleans as a result.

The children joined @OceanCTrust  as they explored the content of a whale's stomach. Finding out what's supposed to be there and what's not? The children were disgusted to see so much plastic and rubbish. Across the school, children made posters to promote the concept of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle so we can save our oceans.
