Victory in Europe Day is the day celebrating the formal acceptance by the Allies of World War II of Germany’s unconditional surrender of its armed forces on Tuesday, 8 May 1945, marking the end of World War II in Europe. This year, marks the 75th anniversary.
Across the country people are remembering those who gave up so much, fighting for our freedom. At High View, we also want our children to know and remember. All our children, both those in school and at home, enjoyed making celebrations to honor this special day.
