Remembrance Day 2018
Remembrance Day is a big part of our school life as all our children learn about and pay their respect to those who gave so much so we could have the lives we live today.
This year, we decided to recycle plastic bottles to make our poppies. Working with our in house artist Soraya Phillips, the children made their own poppies. Our poppies were then displayed in our front entrance foyer so that our local community were able to join us in our thoughts.
We also wanted to pay our respects to the many animals who lost their lives and the children learnt about how animals played a big part in our War time efforts.
We will remember.
