MKC Heroes explore a Submarine!

Our MKC Heroes loved visiting the Devonport Naval Heritage Site and Visitor Centre, finding out more about the Royal Navy and how boats, ships and equipment has all changed over the years.

The children were then given a tour of HMS Courageous, a decomissioned nuclear submarine.  The children were amazed at the small space which submariners have to live in for months at a time. They thoroughly enjoyed their tour and we think we have a few future submariners amongst our Heroes!
