Dear Parents and Carers,

Hello and welcome to High View School – where good beginnings never end! We hope that you enjoy looking through our website and finding out what makes our school such a wonderful place for children to learn. 

Our school is built upon five core values that we believe are essential for every child's growth and success: be happy, be confident, be kind, be tolerant, and be curious. These values are woven into every aspect of school life, guiding our interactions, our teaching, and our vibrant school community. We truly believe that by fostering these qualities, we can help each child not only thrive academically but also develop a lifelong love of learning.

At our school, we are committed to nurturing the whole child. While academic excellence is certainly a priority, we also place immense importance on supporting your child's well-being. We understand that happy, secure children are more receptive to learning and more likely to reach their full potential. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued, understood, and encouraged to be themselves.  Oracy is also at the heart of all that we do, ensuring that your child is provided with the opportunities to reflect upon and challenge ideas, ask questions and build on the thoughts and opinions of others. 

We are also deeply committed to a relational approach that is built on respect and openness. We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are vital for a child's success. We encourage open communication and collaboration, and we are always here to listen to your ideas, concerns, and feedback. By working together, we can create a supportive and enriching experience for all children.
