Making Boats

The children in year 1 and 2 were set the task of designing and making their own boat which could be used by an explorer to journey across the globe. First, the children investigated a range of materials that would be suitable, linking to our Science learning. They then tested the materials before designing their own boat. Once complete, the children spent the day making their boats and finally tested them to see if they floated. We were very impressed with their unique creations!
