If you're struggling with increased food and energy bills, you are not alone. There is no shame in asking for help. Everyone needs a little bit of extra support at some point in their lives.

Breakfast Club

Providing healthy breakfasts to our pupils so that they are settled and ready to learn.  Breakfast gives children the energy needed for the busy school morning, enabling them to focus on their lessons. Here at High View, we are commitment to ensuring no child is too hungry to learn.

Citizens Advice

The rising cost of living is a real worry for hard-working and struggling households in Plymouth. 

You can get help if you're struggling to afford your energy bills or top up your prepayment meter. You might be able to take advantage of certain benefits, grants and help offered by the government and energy suppliers.

Warm and Welcoming Spaces

Throughout Plymouth, churches, charities and community spaces are opening up their building to provide warm and welcoming spaces for their communities. Transforming Plymouth Together are working with Warm Welcome UK to encourage churches to register their space so that everyone can access a warm space, warm refreshments, and a warm welcome wherever they live.

Nobody in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why Plymouth Foodbank provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. Plymouth Foodbank are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Please call 01752 668000 and select Option 6 to speak to Plymouth City Council, a referral partner of Plymouth Foodbank, who will be able to issue you with a food bank voucher if necessary.

Alternatively, speak to one of our Family Support Advisors who will be happy to help.
