Eye Dissection

We had the amazing opportunity to find out more about the eye and how it functions whilst dissecting a sheep’s eye. After an interesting discussion about the eye and how it works, Mr Chick (a science teacher from Lipson Cooperative Academy) showed us an eye and described each part and their functions. To enable us to have a deeper understanding of how the whole eye works, Mr Chick then cut through the eye and sliced it in half; opening the eye up like this revealed all of the parts of the eye and how they are intricately linked!
