Brickfields April 2021

On Wednesday, eight Year 5/6 children took part in Quadkids, an athletics event at Brickfields. This was our first off-site sports event that we have been able to compete in post-lockdown and it was amazing to see the children out of school enjoying themselves again. Each child competed in a 75m sprint, 600m, 4 x 100m relay race, vortex throw and long jump. Highlights included an almost 45m vortex throw by Jack and a 75m sprint time of 11.69 by Jacob. Well done to these two boys along with Jack, Harry, Kyla, Angellica, Faith and Flora, who all put in an amazing team effort.
